Operation Toy Train, the Dining Car Society, and the Tri-States Railway Preservation Society have partnered for the 2nd annual Rubber & Steel Vehicle & Train Show at the Erie Turntable!
$5.00 General Admission
11AM to 4PM - Rain or Shine
Show vehicles attend free! Contact us at rubbersteel@erieturntable.org if you are interested in bringing a car, truck, or other vehicle (the more, the merrier), or if you’d like to have a different kind of historic display at the event!
The theater/gift shop boxcar, museum boxcar, caboose, and dining car will be open to the public, and the event will also include demonstrations of the historic locomotives on site. Plus, our friend TUG will be visiting from the National Museum of Industrial History in Bethlehem, PA for the first time since 2022. Additionally, the 1850s Hiawatha stagecoach will be coming from the Pike County Historical Society in Milford, PA! This original stagecoach plied the route between Milford and Port Jervis in the late 19th century, and this event will mark its first return to Port Jervis in the 21st century.
The Dining Car Society will be serving up some burgers, hot dogs, and a few classic railroad recipes (including the Erie Lackawanna’s famous BBQ sauce).
